Dunelm shoppers snap up 'stunning' £35 parasol that 'cheers up the garden' (2024)

Dunelm shoppers have been rushing to buy a "bright and cheerful" addition to their outside space that has been declared a "must-have" for the sunshine we will hopefully be seeing in the coming months.

The Rainbow Tilt Beach Parasol has turned heads as a patio or garden essential after the homeware giant shared on TikTok, with its colourful design sure to get you in the mood for summer. Priced at £35, the parasol features eye-catching rainbow stripes, complete with fibreglass ribs to keep it sturdy on breezy days and a tilt mechanism to offer all-day shade from the sun.

With a stellar overall rating of 4.8 out of five stars based on more than 300 reviews, the parasol is a winner with shoppers too. Dunelm customers who have snapped it up so far said they love its "vibrant" colours, praising it as "excellent quality and value for money" and even saying that its cheery look "transformed" their garden.

One shopper praised: "This is an amazing umbrella and I don't think the picture does it justice. An absolute steal for the price."

Another reviewer said: "Beautiful and cheerful parasol. Nice and sturdy in the breeze whilst being a very good size for the money. Bought it as a gift and it is already a much loved and used item as it brightens up the patio even on a dull day!"

A third person wrote: "Brilliant sun parasol, looks really great in my garden - so bright and really big, works a treat keeping the sun out of your eyes. Really well-made and looks a lot more expensive than what it cost. Highly recommend this parasol - well worth the money and more."

Although around 85% of shoppers awarded the parasol the full five stars and a further nine per cent gave it four stars, the main complaint was that it doesn't have a crank mechanism and is opened like a normal umbrella. According to some customers this made it "difficult" to put up and down, while a few others said they wished the height could be adjusted.
